Season Five: FINAL EXAM

Okay!  It's here.  The Crossing Jordan Season 5 Final Exam.  Are you all ready to play?  The exam can be found at the following link.  Also I will attach a PDF file so you can download it and print it out and mark on it and such.

The rules are post here as well as in the link.  You are welcome to submit answers to me.  I'll gather all tests submitted and grade them then post the results.  There will be some prize for the top three scores (not sure yet what they'll be).  If you just want to take it for fun then by all means do so.  You don't have to submit it.  I won't  be posting the answers for about 3-4 weeks.  Depending on how soon I get submissions and how often I get bugged for answers :D

Okay, for those looking: The Play by Play will get up Tuesday Night I HOPE.  I won't be about tonight or most of tomorrow night.  Lara's working on Mace vs. Scalpel quotes so those should be up soon.  I'll try and get to quotes for the finale up on Wednesday and do caps on Thursday...and my reivew...who knows when.  When I find a free moment.

Season Finale: Don't Leave Me This Way

And upon us now is the season finale.  Here already!  Where has the season gone.  I'm sure we'll be in for a great episode!  Here's to #100.  Congrats to CJ.  And we look forward to seeing you next season.

SEASON FINALE & 100TH EPISODE--JORDAN FACES PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL CHALLENGS; CHARLES MESURE GUEST STARS -- Jordan (Jill Hennessy) finds herself in an unexpected situation that will challenge her both professionally and personally. After celebrating Lily's (Kathryn Hahn) engagement and pending nuptials, Jordan wakes up the next morning next to the dead body of her former beau J.D. Pollack (Charles Mesure). With little recollection of the previous night's events and no explanation of what transpired, a shell-shocked Jordan becomes the number one suspect. Determined to clear her name, Macy (Miguel Ferrer) and the rest of the team begin investigating what led up to Pollack's death. Meanwhile, Woddy (Jerry O'Connell) and Lu (Leslie Bibb) take opposite sides on the case, creating a wedge between them. With the evidence stacking up against Jordan, she must persuade her friends and colleagues that she is innocent. Or is she?

On the Lam

Okay! So there's a saying going around on the CoffeeRoom - On the Lam.  I've been asked a few times what it meant, and while I had a guess, I wasn't positive, nor did I know where the saying originated from so I did some research.  For those interested:

The phrase meaning to be on the run from something dates to the turn of the 20th century. It probably comes from the English dialectical verb lam meaning to beat or to strike. To take it on the lam was to be beaten, which was usually followed by running away. Lam may ultimately be of Scandinavian origin, but that isn't definitively known.

So there you go.  She's on the run!

News: Filming starts up in July...

So GO over to the CoffeeRoom.  Allan left a post about the return of Crossing Jordan next fall.  Looks like they'll start filming again on July 5th.  And the feeling is that CJ will return in January after football.

"...the start of shooting for CJ's 6th season on July 5th. Stay tuned for news on when we return to the airwaves. NBC will announce the schedule on May 15th. We have been led to believe that the most likely return wiil be on Sunday's in January 2007, but who knows how their development went? Could be Fridays in Sept., but not likely." --Allan Arkush

Also looks like Jill Hennessy will be staring in an upcoming film.  She's signed on to play Tim Allan's wife in a movie called "Wild Hogs".  (this according to TVguide.com)
