This is a Rant

I'm sick of being pulled one way and another.  Sick of having characters be killed off and I'm sick of rumors.  Yes people I'm going to rant.  If you don't want to hear more stop reading, cause I know my opinions aren't going to agree with the majority. AND THIS IS SPOILERISH - DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW FUTURE FACTS.

Killing characters off: I liked Devan and Elaine.  They get killed.  I like JD--rumor has it he gets killed in the season finale.  Now there's a rumor being started that Leslie Bibb isn't coming back next season. Nothing to back the statement up at this point so it is just a RUMOR in my book.  If she does leave I'll be sad, because I like her.  I think she's got great potential as a character.  However if CJ 'kills' off another character (as some keep suggesting should happen to Lu) I will scream.  It's the wimpiest way to wipe a character out in my opinion. It's pure and simple lazinest.  Writers should be able to creatively write out a character.  So after Elaine's death, then Devan's death and now JD's death...if there's one more character killed off...You'll be hearing me scream all the was in Germany!

I'm really sick of being jerked one way then the other this season.  Overall I've enjoyed the season, but I feel like I'm investing myself emotionally in these new characters they keep bringing in only the have them jerked away from me.  First - I'm not one to usually warm up to new characters, yet I've let myself this season.  I gave them a chance and I've grown to really like them and what they brought to the show...  Then just as things get interesting and the characters really start to develop they done away with.  Either give the characters a chance or don't bring them in in the first place.  Guess the lesson here is not to get emotionally involved, but then where's the fun in watching the show.

Okay...I know this isn't popular opinion, but I'm so sick of rumors, of lies, or fights, of speculations, and of wimpy writing and being teased with new characters.

Okay for those wondering about whether Leslie Bibb is returning next season or not here's what AllanA had to say on the topic.  You can find ihis post on the CoffeeRoom board.

I don't know how that rumor started but Leslie will be back. As we define her character more & more the writer's find new ways to put her into cases. Sometimes as the only cop or when it suits us to have 2 points of view, teamed up with Jordan-Thin Ice, or with Woody-Save Me, where her sensitivity balanced out his lack of understanding & empathy toward the mentally challenged.
